You are correct, and these facts make no sense if you’re assuming that we live in a democracy and not an elaborately deceptive oligarchy.
Once you realize that our democracies are simply elaborate theatre meant to placate the masses, then, all of these facts begin to make sense.
The British people have gotten nothing that they voted for on any front since before the Thatcher/ Heath era, unless the (((elite))) also wanted it.
