Treachery is violating loyalty or trust. How many people in the USA and UK are loyal to their country?
Pew Research has produced some fascinating polling on National Pride. The interesting aspect of the graphic below is that the real finding is that Britons and Americans on the ideological left are very different from their friends elsewhere, they are anti-British and and anti-American. In contrast Right wing Americans are only as patriotic as centrist Germans.
The research raises two questions. Why did the authors report a graphic that shows that the Left is aberrant in the US and UK as the Right being aberrant? What is causing left wing treachery in the US and UK?
The forces that are controlling Left Wing thinking in the USA and UK have been hugely successful at making the Left disloyal. This is the “polarisation” that afflicts these two countries.
Left Wing thinking is learnt at school and it takes at least 15 years after leaving school for ex students to adopt viewpoints typical of the population. This has been a consistent feature of UK politics for 70 years. It is also the reason why left wing politicians desire a lower voting age.
In general schools and universities are models of Marxist states. Each institution is run by a central committee with a great leader (the Vice Chancellor, Head Teacher). Rewards and praise are obtained as much by compliance as by ability, at least until the external examinations occur. However, although this might explain the left wing leanings of 18 year olds it does not explain the relative disloyalty of US and UK 18 year olds.
So what are US and UK schools teaching kids that makes them ashamed of their own countries? It must be something awful because all of the freedoms and much of the prosperity of modern people is due to the Anglo-American Alliance and countries such as Germany and France, which have contributed more than their fair share of grief to the world, raise children who love their country.
The French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Belgians, Germans, Russians etc. also had slaves and colonies but they do not hate their countries for actions from over a hundred years ago (Two hundred in the case of the UK).
The school history curriculum teaches children about the features of their own country that might elicit pride or shame. In the UK history curriculum the Napoleonic Wars, WWI and WWII (the liberation of the world from National Socialism) and the liberation of the world from slavery in the nineteenth century are scarcely mentioned although “In addition to studying the Holocaust” the World Wars are optional. This is mind boggling, any British history curriculum that excludes the deaths of millions of Britons, the destruction of our economy twice in the twentieth century and the emergence of the current world order is shocking.
The history curriculum probably explains much of left wing bias in 18 year olds. UK academics are using the bias of half truths to turn out graduates of schools and universities who hate their own country.
The UK government has subcontracted Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education to outside organisations such as the PSHE Association. This is a formula for allowing politically motivated groups to have access to children. Elected governments should show some leadership in the curriculum.
This brings us to the question of how academia has been subverted to teach national shame in the US and UK but not in other countries. The fact that the UK and USA are the victims is a smoking gun. It is likely that the enemies of the Western Alliance have used the soft underbelly of academia as the principle target of psychological operations since the 1950s. Subvert the US and UK and you will destroy the West. In the 21st century China has spent billions courting UK and US universities and staff with facilities in China, honorary posts at Chinese universities and funding for their work. Our enemies know exactly what they are doing.
However, we cannot just blame China and Russia. UK and US governments have been blind to the role of children in providing the next generation of citizens. They have shown little or no leadership in instilling pride in children and uniting their countries. This has left a vacuum that enemies can fill without opposition.
In Britain we have also been victims of the EU programme to terminate separate cultures in the member states.
