Time to end the BBC!
John Sydenham
The BBC has been caught producing fake coverage of Donald Trump. The fake video shows Trump inciting violence. This is an affront to the USA. It is direct interference in a US election. The USA should sue the BBC for damages and to punish it for attacking the USA.
The faking of Trump’s speech was documented by Michael Prescott who was an adviser to the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines and Standards Committee. The details were considered by the highest levels in the BBC who decided to take no action. Prescott was so disgusted that he has released his 19 page report to the Telegraph.
The BBC gained huge respect for unbiased reporting in the 20th Century. This lack of bias was due to the use of an elaborate review process that was specified in its Charters. The Blair government imposed a new Charter and put review of the BBC in the hands of Ofcom which imposes similar requirements on the BBC to those imposed on other broadcasters. The staff at the BBC realized that they had enormous power as the ‘source of truth’ that had been gained from the 20th Century Charters and exploited this power to infect politics globally with their own biased viewpoints.
BBC staff have recruited staff in their own image so that the whole Corporation is affected. The only way to deal with this rot is to privatise most of the BBC while preserving a single government information channel that is held to the highest standards, higher even than those set in the late 20th century BBC Charters (with Broadcasting Councils etc.). As a single, information channel, with no permission to expand, the new National Broadcaster could be financed directly from taxes plus the proceeds of selling the BBC. The licence fee should be abolished.
“BBC Verify” should be discontinued because it is a cover for misinformation. The BBC only tells half truths even when it is telling a truth.
Some apologists will say that only a few items of BBC News coverage are biased but the articles appended below show that bias is general and usual.
Postscript: Trump has already successfully sued ABC for $15m for fake news. The current fakes are far worse. BBC America and BBC World have spread the slander across the USA and globally, their guilt is clear so Trump’s Team and the USA government should sue the BBC for more than $15m. This would expose to the British audience the fact that the BBC is a misinformation/disinformation outlet for Internationalism. Nowadays the BBC and CNN work together closely and the USA should sever theses links.

After 100 years of broadcasting the time has come to change the BBC.
BBC Fake News about Palestine
The BBC Today programme, the flagship BBC News program, devoted 10 minutes today to tell the people of Britain that the current conflict in Israel was the fault of the British. The piece contained half truth after half truth and factual errors. It was an example of utter bias by the BBC.
A Log of BBC Bias
It will be seen from the many clips below, from coverage of Ukraine to the Falklands, that serious bias is normal in BBC productions. It happens every day. Bias occurs using four techniques. The first is to omit a fair summary description of events, the second is to select interviewees as "glove puppets" for the views of BBC staff, the third is to su…
