I was just watching the leaked video that shows how Google (Alphabet) swears allegiance to globalist values and promises to fight nationalism. You can see Sergey Brin being psycho in the same way as John D Rockefeller. You know, this was all obviously going to happen after Google and Microsoft were permitted to become monopolies. It is as if the lessons of Standard Oil were never learnt.
The US anti-trust laws meant that for much of the twentieth century monopoly power was limited but Microsoft successfully challenged the legislation in the USA in the 1990s. In the UK the Monopolies and Mergers Commission was replaced by a toothless Competition Commission in 1999 that looked to the EU for action but the EU failed to control the new mega corporations.
The anti-trust laws in the USA were a response to the huge power of giant corporations such as Standard Oil, JP Morgan, Carnegie Steel. In the same way Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. in the 21st century have too much power in the hands of one company, man or woman. These corporations have created powerful and dangerous oligarchs who are so powerful that even governments dare not act against them.
The following statement sounds stark or extremist but is true: the multinational corporates and banks are now mounting a campaign to rule the world. Our politicians should have stopped them.
Something has always puzzled me when watching James Bond films. The supervillain is often a megalomaniacal owner of multinational corporations but what is strange is the loyalty shown to him by his followers. At the end of Dr No or the Spy Who Loved Me etc. the villain’s lackeys all seem to be happy to be shot. Why don’t they surrender? Surely they know they are working for the bad guy? Google has given us a real life solution to this conundrum. Just look at the staff in the video below.
Google is one of the most powerful of the global corporations. The video below documents its reaction to the 2016 election of Donald Trump.
As a British citizen I care little either way about Trump but the passion of the Google staff is astonishing. Especially the passion against elections of Mr Sergey Brin, owner of Google, who was rescued by the USA as a refugee from Russia.
The assumption by Google staff that globalism is the only way forward for the world is not unexpected. Google is a multinational corporation that indoctrinates its workers in the company’s values. They see the nation state as the enemy because Western nation states have been designed to care for the interests of an area of land and the group of people who inhabit that land. They have democracies to transmit the concerns of the people to the government. Google is a corporation and indoctrinates its staff with the idea that it cares for them, it is not a democracy. Its purpose is to exploit staff for profit. And to create a globally dominant oligarchy.
The nation state is decried by Google staff as tribal, populist and nationalist. Again not unexpected because the staff have all torn up their roots and become stateless. They are “anywhere people”.
Google, Microsoft etc. have formed a transnational power base that has no accountability. They are not elected. They represent no-one but themselves. They are now an alternative source of power vying for global control.
On their own the multinationals could still be reined in, they could and should be broken up. Unfortunately China has realized that the multinationals are controllable. The China state sovereign wealth fund (CIC) and national investment fund (CITIC) have trillions of dollars acquired from their $500bn annual trade surplus to control these monsters.
China controls the multinational corporates, the corporates control the media and the media controls us. Just look at how Google has indoctrinated its employees - this will permeate all of us if it is allowed to continue.
