Fascism in Brussels
Be Afraid. National Socialism is on the rise again in Europe. Yesterday the Belgian authorities banned a Conservative conference in Brussels. We are experiencing a re-run of the 1920s to 1930s.
You can tell that things are bad because few news outlets in Europe covered this event for what it was: the suppression of democracy and free speech. Instead the far left mayors of three districts in Brussels used terms like “The far right is not welcome” to describe a conference of their opponents.
The conference was attended by numerous, elected conservative politicians such as Suella Braverrman, Viktor Orbán, Mateusz Morawiecki and many more from all over Europe.

The Brussels authorities are acting exactly like National Socialists. They are authoritarian socialists who believe in free markets. This is the definition of National Socialism. The authorities are the true far right. This would be clear to everyone except that National Socialism is already all around us.
If your immediate reaction to the Brussels action is “good, that stops the far right” then you should know that you are a fascist. If you see it as the forces of law and order stopping hateful people (ie: people you disagree with) you are a fascist. It was a conservative conference, not the “far right”. In Germany in the 1930s it was the students, academics and middle classes who supported National Socialism. It was the English who had, in those days, a cultural, cast-iron committment to independence and democracy who managed to stop fascism.

It is strange that authoritarian socialism has acquired the name “wokeism”. Caring about minority groups is good, legislating against some modes of speech in relation to these groups is sheer evil, it is authoritarian socialism and is the the gateway to National Socialism.
