What happened?
Big business was allowed almost uncontrolled access to power. Especially the tech Barons.
Women replaced the tyranny of men with the tyranny of women and took over teaching, the health services, media and civil service.
Voters were apathetic and cowardly and failed to react to obviously bad changes until the changes were ensconced.
The people were scared to confront geopolitics.
The media replaced religion as guardians of public morality.
Everyone believed in something different without any foundation for any belief.
Life as a construction of the inner self became life as a construction of public identity.
Loyalty, locality and belonging were abandoned to be replaced by a nebulous belief in global governance. “Anywhere people” were created.
The culture was knowingly destroyed. All certainties evaporated.
Children started school wearing nappies. If parents have so little belief in training their own children…
